Steve Collins is the executive vice president of facilities for The Madison Square Garden Company. Mr. Collins directs all aspects of property management at the company's venues, including Madison Square Garden, The Theater at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, The Beacon Theatre, The Chicago Theatre and the Forum. His responsibilities include security as well as front of the house, building and box office operations. In addition, Mr. Collins is tasked with overseeing event production, food and beverage, merchandise operations, purchasing and customer service. Mr. Collins managed the unprecedented, three-year, top-to-bottom Transformation of the Madison Square Garden Arena and played a similar role in the company's comprehensive reinvention of its newest venue, the “Fabulous” Forum in Inglewood, California.
Mr. Collins has 25 years of experience in facilities management and operations. He joined MSG in 2002 as vice president of facilities for Radio City Music Hall and since then has held a variety of positions with increasing responsibility, including his prior role as senior vice president and general manager of Madison Square Garden Operations and Business Development. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Collins spent 13 years at The Meadowlands Sports Complex, where he held several key facilities management roles including director of operations for Giants Stadium and assistant director of operations for the Continental Airlines Arena. Mr. Collins is a graduate of Gettysburg College.
