Sean O'Donoghue

Sean O'Donoghue serves as Chief Technology Officer for The Madison Square Garden Company, where he is responsible for all aspects of the company's technology, including the use of cutting-edge solutions to help grow the business.

Mr. O'Donoghue leads the company's efforts to identify and integrate the latest technology to support strategic objectives across the company, whether it's the company's core infrastructure, broadcast and news facilities, websites and social media platforms, or sports and entertainment products. He works closely with each of the company's business units to ensure that the company is achieving technological excellence and consistency, and that all technology efforts remain focused on advancing the goals of the company, which include supporting employees and delivering great service for customers.

Prior to joining The Madison Square Garden Company, Mr. O'Donoghue served as the head of information technology for feature animation company DreamWorks Animation SKG, where he was responsible for IT strategy and operations. Before DreamWorks, he was responsible for IT strategy, architecture and applications at the Macerich Company, a real estate investment trust company. Mr. O'Donoghue also spent several years at Oracle Corporation implementing and integrating back office systems and also building auction sites and trading exchanges.

Mr O'Donoghue is a graduate of University College Cork and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He also is an advisor to the Irish Technology Leadership Group.
