Robert Pollichino is executive vice president and chief financial officer for The Madison Square Garden Company where he oversees all of the financial functions including accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, treasury, internal audit, risk management and investor relations.
For the past 30 years, Mr. Pollichino has held key financial and operational management positions at the company and at Cablevision, the former parent company of The Madison Square Garden Company including the position of executive vice president, finance for Madison Square Garden.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Pollichino was senior vice president of Rainbow Sports. In this role he managed SportsChannel Regional Network, the Prime Network and NewSport national sports services and corporate staff at Rainbow Sports. His responsibilities there also involved overseeing strategic planning, finance and investments.
Mr. Pollichino has also held the positions of group vice president and general manager for SportsChannel Associates, the predecessor of Fox Sports New York where he handled all business aspects of affiliate sales, advertising sales, consumer marketing, programming and production.
Prior to his role there, he was vice president, finance and administration for Rainbow Program Enterprises, the predecessor to Cablevision's current Rainbow Media subsidiary. Mr. Pollichino began his career at Cablevision as their director of finance.
Mr. Pollichino holds a Bachelor of Science degree in public accounting from Hofstra University. He is a member of the Cable Television Advertising and Marketing Association (CTAM).
