MSG, which was founded in 1969 and is the longest running regional sports network in the country, is the television home of the New York Knicks (NBA), New York Rangers (NHL), Buffalo Sabres (NHL), New York Red Bulls (MLS) and New York Liberty (WNBA), as well as WFAN's "Boomer & Carton" show every weekday morning.

MSG+, which was originally SportsChannel and later Fox Sports Net New York, joined the MSG brand in 2008 and is the television home of the New Jersey Devils (NHL) and New York Islanders (NHL).

MSG Networks telecasts nearly 700 live professional games and 150 live college football and basketball games from top national conferences (SEC, Big 12, Big East, Pac 12, Conference USA) every year, as well as four weekly New York Giants (NFL) programs during the football season, thoroughbred racing, tennis, boxing, action sports and award-winning original programming, including "MSG's Vault," "Beginnings," "The Game 365" and "The Garden Transformed."

Over the past six years, MSG Network has won 85 New York Emmy Awards, more than any single network or station in the region, while MSG Media, which includes MSG Network, MSG+ and MSG.com, has totaled 97 wins during that time. Combined, MSG and MSG+ have won 197 Emmys over the history of the two networks.
