Rangers Trim Training Camp Roster
Assign 19 players; 43 players remain in Training Camp
New York, NY (September 23, 2015) - New York Rangers General Manager Jeff Gorton announced today that the team has assigned 19 players from its Training Camp roster.
Twelve players that were assigned will report to Training Camp for the Rangers’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack: Calle Andersson, Kodie Curran, Cedrick Desjardins, Troy Donnay, Chris McCarthy, Chad Nehring, Josh Nicholls, Samuel Noreau, Mackenzie Skapski, Michael St. Croix, Nick Tarnasky, and Petr Zamorsky.
Six players that were assigned will report to their Junior teams: Ryan Gropp, Brandon Halverson, Keegan Iverson, Ryan Mantha, Brad Morrison, and Sergey Zborovskiy.
One player was released from his Tryout Agreement: Jacob Smith.
The Rangers have 43 players remaining in Training Camp. The roster breakdown is listed below:
