MSG Network to Roll Out the Blue Carpet for Knicks-Lakers Game Friday Night
"Knicks Blue Carpet Presented By Chase" Will Welcome Knicks Alumni

New York, NY (February 9, 2012) - Before the Knicks host the Los Angeles Lakers Friday night, MSG Network will roll out the blue carpet for former Knicks stars and celebrity fans attending the big matchup at Madison Square Garden. "Knicks Blue Carpet Presented by Chase" will kick off the night of coverage starting at 7:00 p.m. followed by "Knicks Game Night" at 7:30 p.m. and the Knicks vs. Lakers at 8:00 p.m.
Bill Pidto, Kelly Tripucka and Alan Hahn will host the "Knicks Blue Carpet Presented by Chase" special from MSG Studios on Seventh Avenue, while Tina Cervasio and Jill Martin talk to celebrity Knicks fans, including Super Bowl Champion New York Giants Justin Tuck and Brandon Jacobs; supermodel Kate Upton; actors Dylan McDermott, Billy Crudup and Chase Crawford; and NBC's Al Roker on the blue carpet outside of the World's Most Famous Arena. A number of former Knicks stars, including Bernard King, Alan Houston, Larry Johnson, Anthony Mason, John Starks and Herb Williams, will also say hi to fans on the blue carpet.
At 7:30 p.m., Tripucka and Hahn will be joined by Al Trautwig in studio for the "Knicks Game Night" pre-game show. The game tips at 8:00 p.m. with Spero Dedes, Walt 'Clyde' Frazier and special guest King sitting courtside. Following the conclusion of the game, the "Knicks Post-Game Show" takes over with Trautwig, Tripucka and Hahn back in the studio to wrap up the game with highlights and interviews.
