2011-12 Knicks Preseason Schedule Announced
New York to Play Two Games Prior to Opening Day on Christmas
New York, NY (December 2, 2011) - The New York Knickerbockers announced today its 2011-12 preseason schedule, which includes two games – both against the New Jersey Nets.

Earlier today, the NBA announced that the Knicks will open the 2011-12 regular season facing the Boston Celtics at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 25 at noon.
This season fans will see the completed first phase of the historic, three-year top-to-bottom Madison Square Garden Transformation. This includes a new lower bowl seating area, expanded Madison Concourse (sixth Floor), new Event Level Suites, Viewing Areas on the eight Floor and the West Balcony (10th Floor) with new amenities, and the new Delta Sky360 Club and 1879 Club presented by J.P. Morgan. Following the second offseason shutdown a new upper bowl seating area will debut, along with a new Garden Concourse (eighth Floor) and new Madison Suites and Madison Club. After the third, and final, offseason shutdown, in Fall 2013 fans will see a new Chase Square entrance, two new Chase Bridges, remodeled Garden Suites, restoration of the famed Garden ceiling, and a new state-of-the-art GardenVision center-hung scoreboard.
