The Madison Square Garden Company is honored to work closely with the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity, to make dreams come true for children facing obstacles. Through ongoing programs that use the magic of MSG – including the Rangers, the Knicks, the Liberty, MSG Entertainment, MSG Networks and Fuse – the Foundation develops strong, long-term relationships that truly change lives. Since its inception in September 2006, Garden of Dreams has created thousands of once-in-a-lifetime experiences that have brought joy and happiness to more than 250,000 children and their families, including those facing homelessness, extreme poverty, illness and foster care.
Partnering with a diverse collection of outstanding children’s related organizations – from hospitals, to foster organizations, to homeless shelters and “wish” organizations – Garden of Dreams conducts nearly 500 events annually both at our venues and out in the community. These initiatives include ongoing educational and career-oriented programs targeting high school students; hockey, basketball and dance skill programs in partnership with the Rangers, Knicks and Rockettes; and the opportunity to attend numerous games and events at Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall. In addition, the Foundation conducts ongoing wish fulfillment; toy and holiday drives; celebrity and athlete clinics; celebrations and gatherings at MSG venues or partner organizations; and the annual Garden of Dreams Talent show, which culminates in hundreds of children delivering unforgettable performances on the great stage of Radio City Music Hall.
